Jon Andresen Technology Solutions PrincipalJon Andresen is the President and Principal Consultant of TechnologySolutions, an international consultancy focusing on business and technology integration including UID, RFID, bar coded part marking, part traceability, reliability, Spec 2000 eBusiness, and data lifecycle.

Recent and current clients include the Delta, United, Austrian, US Department of Defense, Boeing, Boeing Helicopter, Bombardier, Honeywell, Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications, SAP, Tracer San Francisco State University, Chiron and other major corporations.  He worked for over a decade as an IT Technical Architect at United Airlines where he implemented thousands of bar code reading, printing, and network devices in their Maintenance Division covering applications in shipping/receiving, WIP, Time & Attendance, warehouse tracking, parts tracking, and tool inventory control.

Andresen also served as the Chair of the ATA Spec 2000 Bar Code Taskforce for nearly two decades, and was the Stocker Visiting Professor at Ohio University in 2002. With a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University and a MSME from MIT, he is the author of dozens of magazine articles, consulting reports, and white papers and has spoken at more than 70 industry gatherings worldwide.
